Dear parents and students,

This is to let you know that there is a schedule change this month and a revision to the instructional calendar. Our scheduled break will begin on February 24 instead of Family Day. There will be regular lessons Feb 17 to 22, then a two-week break including March Break. Lessons will commence again on March 9th after March Break.

The 32 week instructional year will now end on June 5. The revised calendar is available on our web site harmonyhouse.ca.

I hope everyone a fabulous Christmas holiday break, as I have as well.

Lessons will begin again on Tuesday, January 14th unless I have made special earlier arrangements because of missed lessons. I can't wait to start working with you on some new pieces. If anyone would like to let me know at or before the first lesson what you would like to learn, I'll get the music promptly.

    Dear students and parents:

    We want to welcome everyone back to music lessons in our new studio. A special welcome to the new students.

    Here is some important information that all students, especially new students, need to know.

  DAYS ON WHICH LESSONS ARE GIVEN 
This year we are offering a total of 32 weeks of lessons from September 10 to June 13. Here is the instructional calendar which is also available under "More Information" on our web site at harmonyhouse.ca. Please remember that we do have lessons on school non-instructional days.

  RESCHEDULING LESSONS 
If you need to miss a weekly lesson for any reason, please call or email us. If you also cancel the lesson using the Parent/student Portal, your scheduled time will be available for someone else and we will be notified. We will schedule an alternative time within a 2 week period. Please give us as much notice as possible.

  STORM DAYS 
For safety reasons the studio is closed on storm days. Affected students will receive notifications by email or text. There are no specific storm day make-up days, but we are billing for 31 lessons to account for one storm day.

  PARENT/STUDENT PORTAL 
This will show you your scheduled lessons, account balance and history, upcoming events (parties etc) that you can sign up for, and the latest studio news. You can also synchronize the lesson calendar with the calendar on your computer or mobile device.

  STUDIO POLICIES

This is our Studio News for May.

Our plan for the Victoria Day weekend is to have lessons as usual on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. If students will be away the lesson will be rescheduled.

End of Lessons

The last day of lessons is Friday, May 31st.

Year-end Recital
This year's recital will be on Saturday June 1, at 2:00 p.m. Please mark this on your calendar. Everyone is invited: family, friends, etc. and an invitation has been sent out to all students and parents.

We are excited to hold the recital at the new Hanwell Community Centre, "Hanwell Place", 5 Nature Park Drive by the Hanwell Recreation Park across from Eaglewood. There will be several featured performers, which will be a real treat.

Dear students and parents,

We want to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Christmas.

We also want to thank all students for making our teaching experience with you so very rewarding. We will be looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year when lessons begin again on Tuesday January 8.
